This Privacy Policy covers the ftpGrid product and website (hereinafter “website” or “the website“), which is owned and operated by BlumIT ApS (“hereafter BlumIT or just BIT for short”). The term “Services” is defined in BIT’s Terms of Service.
BIT is committed to protecting the privacy of its users and wishes to maintain a safe and secure environment for all users of the website. Please read the following Privacy Policy to understand how your personal information is treated. From time to time, BIT may offer new services and/or products that may require BIT to update this Privacy Policy. Please check back with us periodically. BIT collects personal information from users for different purposes. Information gathered online can be identified as either anonymous or identifiable. Piwik PRO Analytics Suite is a privacy-focused platform for tracking and analyzing user behavior on websites and other digital products. It is developed by Piwik PRO, based in Poland. For years, Piwik PRO was connected with Clearcode, a company specializing in custom AdTech and MarTech platform development. Piwik PRO was also connected with Matomo (previously Piwik).
Google Analytics is a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. Google Analytics places cookies on your computer to help BIT analyze how users use the Website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the Website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. You have the right to delete your account on Website. Please note deleting an account will FOREVER DELETE ANY AND ALL DATA AND DATA WILL BE IMMEDIATELY DELETED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO GENERAL DATA, USERS, USERS DATA, IMAGES, HISTORICAL DATA AND INVOICES.
BIT reserves the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy. In the event of a material change in our information collection and handling practices, BIT will inform those users who have provided an email address via email. Any changes will apply prospectively only.
BIT provides you the opportunity to “opt-out” of having your personally identifiable information used for certain purposes when we ask for this information. For example, if you register for an account but do not wish to receive any additional marketing material from BIT, you can indicate your preference during the account creation process. The Website is general audience website and does not direct any of its content specifically at children under 13 years of age. BIT understands and is committed to respecting the sensitive nature of children’s privacy. If BIT learns or has reason to suspect that a user is under age 13, BIT will promptly delete any personal information for that user.
BIT does not disclose your information to third parties for marketing purposes. BIT does not track its customers over time and across third party websites to provide targeted advertising and therefore does not respond to Do Not Track (“DNT”) signals. BIT is a EU company and the Website is hosted in both the United States and EU.
